Mock Trial

State Finals Results!

On Saturday, March 24, 2012, 10 teams (listed below) advanced to the State Finals of the 2012 MCCE High School Mock Trial Tournament.  Four Teams advanced to the semifinals, and after two more hard-fought rounds the final results are as follows:

  • State Champions: Ann Arbor Community High School
  • Runner-Up: Kalamazoo Central High School
  • Third Place: University of Detroit Jesuit High School
  • Fourth Place: Clarkston High School (Team A)

Pontiac Regional Results:

On Saturday, March 10, 2012, 41 teams competed at the Oakland County Circuit Courthouse in Pontiac, Michigan.  Each team competed in three rounds.  Eight teams advanced to the State Finals on Saturday, March 24, 2012, in Lansing, Michigan, and six teams received honorable mention.

Grand Rapids Regional Results:

On Saturday, March 10, 2012, 11 teams competed at the Kent County Circuit Courthouse in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Each team competed in three rounds.  Two teams advanced to the State Finals on Saturday, March 24, 2012, in Lansing, Michigan, and two teams received honorable mention.

  • 10 - Port Huron High School
